Baptisms & Parenting
Baptism of Infants and Children. Baptisms of Infants and children may be scheduled during a Mass or a separate celebration outside of Mass. Call the office to request a baptism class. Prior to the Baptism of their children, parents must select a sponsor(s) or godparent(s), and must attend The Rite of Baptism for Children class. After attending the Baptism class, parents should contact a priest or deacon to schedule the Baptism.
Baptism of Adults. The Catholic Church uses the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults in order to prepare adults to become new Christians in faith and baptism. To learn more about the process of becoming a Catholic Christian, please visit our RCIA page.
